Cinnamon Applesauce Ornaments
About 1 1/2 cups applesauce (great time to get rid of the old stuff!)
1 cup cinnamon
little bit of nutmeg or allspice

Rolling Pin
Wax Paper
Straw
Mix together applesauce and spices until well combined. Roll out onto wax paper to a 1/4" thickness (Very important... I did it too thin once, and lost all of them- they cracked/broke). Cut out shapes, place onto separate sheet of wax paper. Use the straw to poke a hole through the top. Let dry for at least 24 hours, may be helpful to flip over halfway through. When dry, thread string through the hole to hang on tree. You can paint the ornaments too... it's fun to do with young kids! P.S. Please don't let the kids eat them. :)
